from lost_spook, or as she is known in these parts, She Who Gets Meme Stolen From.
Because why not? It's more enjoyable than syntax!

Give me a number and I'll answer the question (or try to anyway):

1. Which is your favorite of the fics you’ve written for [name of fandom]?
2. Favorite piece overall?
3. Which was the hardest to write, in terms of plot?
4. Which has the most “you” in it, however you’d define that?
5. What is an image/set of images that you’re particularly proud of?
6. Idea that you always wanted to write but could never make work?
7. Least favorite plot point/chapter/moment?
8. Favorite plot point/chapter/moment?
9. Favorite character to write?
10. Favorite line or lines of dialogue that you’ve written
11. If I’m showing off just one of your pieces to someone, which one should it be?
12. What WIPs do you have going now? Are you excited about them?
13. Are there any things that might have happened in any of your stories, but you changed them at the last minute? (So-and-so dies, they don’t actually kiss, main character has long extended ballet-based dream sequence, etc.)
14. Would you want to write canon for any of your fandoms (like be hired by showrunner to do an episode)? Which one?
15. Does font matter to you when you’re writing a draft?
16. 3 favorite comments ever received on fanfic.
17. Any mean comments? How’d you deal with it? Who laid the smackdown?
18. If you could go back and revise one of your older stories, which would it be?
19. Do you make up scenes at work/on the bus/at the gym? Who are the characters that pop up the most? Do you write them down?
20. Go nuts, and talk about writing. Or write me a little ficlet-whatsit using a character/image/line I shall now specify—

Number 4, I think.

Hmmm... I don't know! All my stories have something in me, I think - I usually write stuff that fits in with canon, so it should be an aspect that speaks to me.
*tries anyway* Well, my political stories (War is Over and Inter Arma in HP, Livin' on a Prayer and Five People who Could Never Leave Gotham in TDKR) definitely reflect a lot of how I see the world and people's behaviour in the world. But then this could be said about the little stories as well, like Fade Away or But Oh These Human Women, y'know? But I can't pinpoint *one* story, because as long as they have people having meaningful interactions, I kinda put myself into that interaction, I think.

All are very interesting! I would pick 4, 13, 16.

4 - replied above. :)

13 - These tend to be only in the longer fics, because the one shots are very much already sketched out by the time I sit down to write them. But it definitely happens in my longfic, and lololol there's some really odd ones. Like, er, Voldemort's ghost in Inter Arma showed up... only as I was writing the actual chapter. Which is ridiculous in hindsight seeing how much it influences the story. I knew I wanted it for the sequel to Inter Arma (Which, to my shame, hasn't been written yet... ah, PhDs) but it took me to realise that the chapter wasn't working to figure out that he needs to appear already in Inter Arma.

16. Hmmm. Well, when I was posting Inter Arma I had two regular readers who also commented, which was fun, especially in the later chapters when things get complicated they started engaging and discussing the fic... specifically when I posted chapter 13, I ended up in a huge PM discussion with one of them because of the Draco and Scorpius portion of the plot, which got quite a strong reaction from her! Which was nice.
I think that would be the repeated theme in most of my favourite reviews- I mean, I obviously love when people say they love my fics (:D) but when you see that it gets a reaction out of them, that it made people think about the fic and not just enjoy it (sometimes even when they admit, as was in this case, that it was hard to read), then I really go 'wheeeeee'. ;)
So, I guess my other two would be one reviewer for A Hero For Any Other Day which was my one attempt to write Harry/Draco in a way that would make sense to me, and this girl wrote "I thought I could handle this but I couldn't."
And, haha, lost spook's review of Dear Mike, which said she wasn't sure whether she whether she was getting all of it but she still enjoyed it.

OMG YOU CANNOT. Blah. I can say which ones are my least favourite, but my favourite??? Argh.

Let's see. Human Women I think is definitely one of my favourites. Fade Away... almost... I'm always a bit touchy about the line between drama and angst, and I really love the post-Rose parts of it, but I'm ambivalent about the Rose parts of it. And I might just throw in here Existing. Or Not. just because the world needs more Owen/Amy :P

Aw, well, those are good stories. Including Existing Or Not! :-)

I'll ask for #17, which is the same request I made Lost Spook.

Mean comments... Did I get mean comments? I mean, it's hard to tell, where does the line go between mean and simply negative? I definitely have my share of negative comments, after all, I post everything on FFN as well as AO3. And some of them... I don't know whether to call them mean, but frustrating? Like someone completely ripping off to how could I not explain my AU and it makes no sense... 3 hours after I posted the chapter that's actually explaining it, so that was like 'yeah, if you would have read past chapter 1...'

OH I KNOW! The people on FFN who don't understand that the characters listed ≠ ship and blamed me of ship baiting when I wrote a story whose main characters were Harry and Hermione (but Hermione was with Ron, because, hello, CANON). I had a bunch of those and I wanted to scream.

There usually isn't a smackdown because most people who post negative comments on FFN do it anonymously and I don't think I got a negative, let along a mean comment in a different website. So I just shrug and move on... and TBH usually even if they can be replied to I still don't bother. Nothing good can come out of it.

(I was actually afraid of posting Superheroes Anonymous to FFN because I was afraid of offending DC/Marvel fans. In the end I only uploaded it as Doctor Who and got no negative comments, so... huzzah!)
